SEVEN FORMS (Geraldton ‘26)

OPENING NIGHT: FRIDAY 17 April 2026 | 6-8PM
EXHIBITION DATES: 18 April – 21 June 2026
RSVP: Coming soon via Humanitix

Seven Forms (Geraldton ‘26) presents new work by seven established WA-based artists. The artists consider natural ecologies in the Mid West region intersecting with human technologies including so-called artificial intelligence. The projects are specific to particular sites and speculative; they consider current and future climate change impacts and human entanglement in the processes they unleash.

The artists – Susanna Castleden, Monika Lukowska-Appel, Melanie McKee, Alana McVeigh, Layli Rakhsha, Sarah Robinson and Sue Starcken – focus in their creative research on intersections of art, technology and the environment at a time when human futures require fundamental change. Always observant of being on Yamatji Country, together the artists offer a compelling vision of place at a time of profound environmental and cultural transition.

The exhibition is the second in a series of exhibitions curated by Janice Baker highlighting the uniqueness of Western Australian regions in a time of transition toward sustainable energy and communities.

Proudly supported by the WA Government.
