Rewind I Rachel Weaver

Published on Friday, 26 February 2021 at 1:02:45 PM

“Delightfully horrid” and “weirdly cool” are some of the ways people have described local graphic designer Rachel Weaver’s work, which is now in the Post Office Lane Lightbox Gallery.

The surreal horror artist jumped at the opportunity to have her colourful and stirring exhibition ‘Rewind’ featured in the outdoor space.

Weaver will transport viewers back to the 1980s and 90s with her use of colour and font types paired with haunting illustrations of eyeballs appearing as jawbreaker lollies, skulls with sour worm sweets and gory ice creams.

The Post Office Lane Lightbox Gallery, located in the transformed Rocks Laneway, is set to house ‘Rewind’ from Thursday 18 February to Thursday 22 April.
