🎉 The Geraldton Regional Art Gallery invites you, your friends and family to join us in opening the Mid West Art Prize 2019! 🎉
The biennial prize is open to all West Australian artists and boasts more than $29,000 in prize money across a number of award categories.
The 2019 awards are:
〰️ City of Greater Geraldton Overall Award for Excellence $20,000
〰️ Rio Tinto Midwest Aboriginal Art Award $3,500
〰️ RED FM Youth Award $3,500
〰️ Local Member (MLA) Ian Blayney People’s Choice Award $1,500
〰️ Incite Security Midwest Artist Award $1000
Opening night festivities will include: art, entertainment, food vendors, live music & more in our Art Garden. Speeches and award announcements from 7pm.
Bands, food vendors and local comedy to be announced!
The Geraldton Regional Art Gallery is very pleased to be working with The City of Greater Geraldton, Rio Tinto, RED FM, Ian Blayney Local MLA and Incite Security to deliver this significant range of prize money to West Australian artists.
