Sharpen your creative mind (and pencils!) in these workshops with our special guests from Canberra’s National Portrait Gallery, Sally Dawson (Learning Facilitator) and Annette Twyman (Learning Coordinator). On a daily basis Sally and Annette engage with students of all ages and skill levels, the very young from 6months and their families to groups and individuals with dementia. The pair are passionate about their work, as it allows them to meet amazing people and share thoughtful conversations about art.
We are pleased to present the following workshops in conjunction with the National Photographic Portrait Prize 2019:
Little Faces
Friday 9 August, 9:30am & 10:40am
A very gentle program for 6 month to 3 year olds with their adult (parent, grandparent or carer). We will be looking at the portrait of Ella in Callala Bay, 2018 by Aletheia Casey. With a farmyard theme we will be singing, dancing and exploring making paper chooks.
