WHAT is CRAFT? Objects made by people with their hands. These can be:

• Domestic - objects we use every day – a cup for our tea, a bowl for our soup

• Dress and Adornment - the clothes we make and the jewellery we wear that express ourselves. The ways we do our hair, paint our bodies

• Spiritual – how we honour our beliefs – offerings, candles, shrines

• Shelter – how we build shelters for ourselves and our families
