Join West Australian artists Susanna Castleden, Bevan Honey, Bruce Slatter and Nicole Slatter for a walk through of their exhibition 'Assembling parts for a bigger picture' at the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery.
The artists will informally discuss the conception of their exhibited works as well as their wider arts practice.
//About the exhibition
'Assembling parts for a bigger picture' is an exhibition of works that look at the ways in which place is experienced. These encounters with place could be part of our everyday routines and daily life, or arise from unusual or unfamiliar journeys. Through translating these moments using drawing, painting, printmaking and sculptural practices it is hoped that the artworks bring an awareness to the experience of that place.
This exhibition includes collaborative and individual works, and is the result of a long-standing friendship between four artists who share similar ideas about making art. Together and separately they have been Assembling parts for a bigger picture.
